Logan Township, NJ — In
the most recent annual survey of new medium-duty truck dealers,
conducted by the independent American Truck Dealers Association
(ATD), dealers ranked Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America (MFTA)
first in each of the seven different performance categories
measured. They included top rankings in warranty support,
parts fill rate, parts index, sales field staff, service
support, parts sales support, and people index. In addition
to these top rankings, MFTA was ranked third in overall attitude
index.
The survey ranked eleven medium-duty commercial truck
manufacturers that market their products in the U.S., including
U.S.-made and imported models, both conventional and cabover.
The survey was submitted to all heavy-duty and medium-duty
new truck dealerships in the U.S. This year’s survey
had a response rate of 27.2%, and was intended to measure
each manufacturer’s value, marketing, policy, parts
and people.
According to Mike Rumsey, vice president sales
operations for MFTA, “We’re very proud of our
rankings in this year’s survey. Not only does it say
a lot about our company’s commitment to our dealers,
but it’s also a measure of the individual dedication
of our entire MFTA team to helping our dealers support their
customers. We’re ranked number one in all of these
categories only because of the skills, experience and positive
attitude of all of our employees. Our challenge will be to
build on these rankings and improve each of them in next
year’s survey.”
