Logan Township, NJ — Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America, Inc. (MFTA) has announced that all new 2010 FE and FG model Mitsubishi Fuso medium-duty trucks will come equipped with door-mounted split rear view mirrors as standard equipment. Previously an option, these split mirrors provide a large, flat upper surface combined with a smaller, convex lower surface. The combination provides the driver a full view to the rear, as well as an improved view of the road next to the vehicle.
The whole mirror frame adjusts easily, with detents that hold the frame in position, then the convex surface adjusts separately to optimize the view for each driver.
“These mirrors can help to eliminate blind spots,” says Mike Rumsey, vice president, sales operations, “and that could help prevent accidents for all Mitsubishi Fuso truck owners.”
